EAMCET medical goes off smoothly

The medical test of the EAMCET-II was conducted without any incidents of malpractice or errors in question paper on Friday. There were no reports of students being turned away due to late coming.

Out of the 56,153 candidates, who registered for the examination, 50,964 candidates have appeared with the attendance being 90.76 percent. In Hyderabad out of the 20,648 candidates registered only 19,356 candidates took the test.

The test was conducted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Set Code ‘R’ was selected by the Health Minister, Charlakola Laxma Reddy in the morning to be communicated to all the 95 test centres. Officials said that utmost care was taken to prevent malpractice cases of impersonation. Candidate-specific OMRs and nominal rolls with photograph, name and date of birth were prepared. The biometric finger prints along with the photograph of all the candidates were taken in the examination halls. Also, thumb impressions were taken on the filled in online application form and nominal roll in the examination hall for verification.The preliminary key was released in the evening and is available on the website ‘http://med.tseamcet.in.’ Students can send their objections to the key through email on ‘keyobjectionstseamcet2016@gmail.com’ before 2 p.m. by July 12. Results will be declared on July 14.
