Dubai-Singapore flight makes emergency landing in Hyderabad

This was necessitated asa woman passenger developed 'health complications'and was rushed to a city hospital. After this, the flight left for Singapore at 9:10 a.m, airport sources said.

Emirates Airlines flight EK-432, bound for Singapore from Dubai, made an emergency landing at Hyderabad International Airport in Shamshabad at 7.40 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The plane was grounded for close to one-and-a-half hours after a 69-year-old passenger, Maria Lousia Victoria, suffered an acute brain stroke at around 6:10 a.m. The passenger from Netherlands was deplaned along with her son and was shifted to Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills for treatment.

According to the hospital authorities, left side of the patient’s body was paralysed due to the stroke. She was shifted to the ICU and is presently under observation. Hospital sources informed that she may require a surgery. The Emirates Airlines EK-432 resumed its flight for Singapore at 9.10 a.m. on Thursday morning.
