Twenty-three persons, caught for drink driving at different places in city in past two days, were slapped with three-day jail terms by a local court on Monday.
Third Additional Metropolitan Magistrate B.C. Rayudu handed out the sentences, a press release said.
318 persons were caught by the police during the special drive in the past two days, after all of them tested positive to breathalyser tests. While the said 23 were awarded jail terms, the remaining people were let off with fines.
