Hall-tickets for the entrance tests conducted by the University of Hyderabad (UoH) can be downloaded from the varsity website from Friday. The entrance tests would be held from February 21 to 26 in 33 centres across the country.
The university had decided to advance the entrance exams from this year to ensure that it becomes the first option for talented students apart from streamlining the admission process. The entrance test for the P.G., M.Phil, Ph.D. and Integrated courses were used to be held in April and May months till last year.
The Vice Chancellor, Ramakrishna Ramaswamy had earlier said that the attempt was to retain top students who were choosing other institutions due to delay in admission process. The idea was also to streamline the admissions and ensure that classes begin on July 15. The admission delay was resulting in students joining the courses till August.
