The A.P. High Court on Tuesday directed private medical colleges to furnish the application forms to the students seeking admission to their colleges in MBBS and receive the forms. Justice Noushad Ali passed these interim orders in two separate writ petitions filed by a batch of students.

The petitioners contended that the websites of the colleges were not functioning properly and the application forms were not being given to them when they approached the colleges in person. They explained how they were being cheated out of the admission process.

The students wanted to apply for the management quota seats.

The judge ordered notices to the college managements and granted interim orders to facilitate the issuance of application forms.

The case is listed for next week.
