All roads on Sunday afternoon invariably led to Hitex International Exhibition Centre, the sprawling venue of ‘Pedigree Hycan’13 Dog Show’ that saw more than 300 dogs from across the country vying for attention and accolades from a gathering that cut across all age groups.

40 breeds on show

The show, organised by Mars International India in association with Hyderabad Canine Club, had canines from 40 breeds offering a fun-filled afternoon.

A host of activities were lined up not only for pets that were brought for the event but also for owners which were aimed at improving awareness on pet care, their feed and health.

Contests for canines were also held, and they included activities such as flyball contest and obedience trials.
