Doctors continue strike

The boycott of medical services and elective duties at government hospitals by junior doctors continued with no respite to the hapless patients.

Even as the ongoing strike entered the 14 day, there was no attempt from the health authorities and protesting junior doctors in reaching a middle ground and ending the strike.

As a symbolic gesture on Tuesday, the junior doctors burned photocopies of there degree certificates at Gandhi Hospital.
