Musheerabad police will send DNA samples of the baby found dead at Gachibowli on Tuesday to ascertain its identity. Similarly, DNA samples of the couple whose baby was kidnapped from Farah Maternity Clinic on Monday by an unidentified woman will also be sent to ascertain if the dead infant was their child, police said.

Though the police had identified a suspect, a woman from the city who went to Mumbai, she was let off after interrogation as she was not connected to the crime, said V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, DCP, Central Zone. The Musheerabad police are also investigating if there was an organised racket behind the kidnap, said an officer.
