Yasin Bhatkal, one of the country’s most wanted terrorists arrested at the India-Nepal border a few days ago along with his aide Asadullah Akhtar, reportedly admitted to his inv-olvement in the Dilsukhnagar blasts in February 2013.
The two terrorists were brought to New Delhi in a special BSF plane and produced before the Patiala House Court, which sent them to 12-day custody of the National Investigation Agency.
Yasin reportedly told the investigators that the Dilsukhnagar blasts were executed with the information gathered by Syed Maqbool and Imran Khan, who are presently in jail for their alleged involvement in Pune blast case.
The duo had scouted Dilsukhnagar, Begum Bazaar and Abids on a motorcycle in July 2012, apparently on the instructions of Indian Mujahideen (IM). Yasin reportedly told the investigators that the blasts were carried out as per the instructions of a colonel based in Pakistan.
