September 18, 2013 01:31 am | Updated November 16, 2021 10:38 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Family members of Habib Mujtaba Al Aydaroos Baba on Tuesday claimed that the visit of DGP V. Dinesh Reddy to their house on September 12 was a personal visit and the official did not carry any files with him as reported in a section of the media.

‘Facts distorted’

Speaking at a press conference here, Habeeb Mohammed, son of Habib Mujtaba Al Aydaroos Baba, said that the news telecast on a Telugu news channel was full of distorted facts. “No cases have been registered against any family member in any police station and the same can be verified,” Mr. Habeeb said.

He also clarified that the Baba does not perform any form of black magic and said that many officials and politicians come and meet him to seek his blessings. The family sought action against the channel for airing a news report portraying him as a controversial person.
