DCA Assistant Director has Rs. 3 crore worth property: ACB

Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Monday, arrested the Assistant Director of Drug Control Administration of Ranga Reddy district, Lati Pramod Reddy, on charge of amassing wealth illegally.

Searches at his house and those of his relatives at Narayanaguda, Lingampally, Central Excise colony and Nallakunta revealed that he acquired properties worth over Rs 3 crore, which were disproportionate to his known sources of income, a release from the ACB said.

The market value of these assets was estimated to be more than Rs. 6 crore.

Among the properties were four plots - two at Jeedimetla and one each at Maheswaram and Shamirpet- a house at Bowenpally and a villa at Miyapur, two cars, gold jewellery weighing 480 grams and four kilos of silver articles. Four lockers and 12 bank accounts, which were in his name and those of his family members, are yet to be checked. He would be presented at a local special court.
