Cyient Q4 net goes up by 16.2%

Hyderabad-based IT firm Cyient posted net profit of ₹121.5 crore for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2017-18 ended March 31.

This was 16.2% higher than the ₹104.6 crore posted during the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. The revenue during the quarter increased 12.8% to ₹1,061.8 crore from ₹941 crore of the year. The company’s net profit for the full year was up 16.1% at ₹429.6 crore while the revenue stood at ₹3,917.5 crore, 8.6% higher than the previous fiscal.

For the full year, net profit was up 16.1% at ₹429.6 crore, while revenue was higher by 8.6% at ₹3,917.5 crore as compared to the previous fiscal. The company had announced a final dividend of ₹4 per share in the fourth quarter taking the total dividend for the year to ₹13 a share.

Cyient managing director and CEO Krishna Bodanapu said the performance during the fourth quarter was in line with the expectations with the company recording highest-ever revenue and operating profit.
