Justice K.G. Shankar of the AP High Court directed Secretary of School Education, Tiwari, to appear in person before the court on Tuesday, else warrant would be issued.

The judge was dealing with a contempt case filed by the management of MNM School, Prakasam district. They said the writ petition filed by them was allowed by the High Court directing the officer to give permission to fill the posts in the school. The officer has not been permitting filling of vacant posts which has been affecting the students. The judge found that the issue was being dragged on and felt that the officer should appear in person in the court to explain the charges of contempt.
