Court permits withdrawal of PIL

A Division Bench of the A.P. High Court comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta and Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar permitted withdrawal of Public Interest Litigation filed against former MP Balashouri. The bench permitted M.V.V.S.V. Prasad, the petitioner, to pinpoint the alleged offenses regarding land allotment to Kineta power private limited (KPPL) and take further steps. The bench was not inclined to grant CBI inquiry into the omnibus allegations made against Balashourie.
