HMDA seeks suggestions on further improvements

For the Conference of Parties (CoP-11) meeting scheduled to be held from October 1 to 19, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has taken up a series of refurbishment and beautification works in the city.

Details pertaining to these works have been placed in the website ‘www.hmda.gov.in’ and the Authority has sought feedback and suggestions from the public on possible further improvements.

At the Lumbini Park, the works include painting and flooring works at the entrance, new sign boards, additional benches, rubber flooring in children’s play area and improvement of illumination and landscape works. Among others, improvement of illumination and new laser equipment has been initiated at the Laserium.

The entrance of NTR Gardens and Memorial is getting a fresh coat of painting along with the kerb and railings, new dustbins are set up at Necklace Road and pavement is provided from Buddha Bhavan to Sanjeevaiah Park along the shoreline.

Beautification works are to be taken up by the HMDA at P.V. Ghat, Sanjeevaiah Park, P.V. Expressway, Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Hitec City flyover also apart from developing a landscape garden at the Secretariat.
