Citizens can now make contributions to promote rainwater harvesting in Hyderabad.
A bank account to facilitate Jalam Jeevam programme of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) was launched here on Tuesday.
Citizens can contribute funds to account number 30152010154020 of Syndicate bank, Khairatabad branch. The account name is HMWSSB- JALAM JEEVAM. The IFSC code of the branch is SYNB0003015 and MICR code is 500025018.
HMWS&SB has already donated a day’s salary of its employees for the project.
Water Board’s MD M. Dana Kishore had announced that officials have completed construction of 567 out of a 1,000 mandated rainwater harvesting structures under the programme.
