The Telangana Congress leaders have raised the pitch against Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Lashing out at Mr. Rao here on Saturday, Sangareddy MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy called him a ‘Shakuni’ out to destroy Telangana.
The TRS president would be defeated if he contests from Medak district, he said.
Former Minister Danam Nagender while speaking at a meeting to welcome YSR Congress party workers into the party in Himayatnagar here said people would never trust Mr. Rao who went back on his word to AICC chief Sonia Gandhi that he would merge his party with Congress if Telangana was granted.
Directing his anger also against actor Pawan Kalyan for meeting leaders of ‘communal’ Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Danam Nagender said Mr. Kalyan had hurt the sentiments of his fans by doing so.
