Cong. lying on Bhadradri: Harish

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao alleged the Congress party leaders are telling blatant lies and no one will trust them.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, Mr. Harish Rao said it was not correct that the government had neglected Bhadradri.

“It was the Congress party which had accorded national status for Polavaram project and merged seven mandals of Telangana in Andhra Pradesh. It was the TRS which had called for bandh against these actions. The Congress leaders who sanctioned projects to Andhra Pradesh at the cost of Telangana and silent while in the power have been now criticising the government,” he said.

The compensation for the farmers of Telangana was not paid when Nilam cyclone hit the State and it was cleared only after Telangana was formed.
