Compliments KCR

July 07, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:37 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Pawan Kalyan had a word of appreciation for Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, saying it was good that Mr. Rao chose a man from North Andhra to work on ‘Yadadri’, the temple of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha on Yadagirigutta.

“This is a step forward to achieving unity among Telugus. My congratulations to Mr. Rao,” he said.

However, he took strong objections to the use of words “Andhrollu and settlers” by Telangana leaders referring to people of Andhra Pradesh. “This could lead to a situation similar to that of Colombo, Sri Lanka, which had seen decades-long strife on regional lines,” he said.
