Commission agent stabbed to death

Three bike-borne men stabbed to death a commission agent trading in sheep at Langerhouz on Wednesday.

A resident of Mustaidpura in Karwan, V. Lingam Yadav goes to Attapur daily to purchase sheep from brokers - Laxminarayana and Mohd. Amjad. As usual, he met the two brokers near pillar No. 72 of PV Narasimha Rao Express Highway at around 6.15 a.m.

After a brief talk with them, Yadav asked a tea stall worker to fetch him a cup of tea and stood in a corner when three youngsters came on a bike. They walked up to him and suddenly pounced on him. While one of them held him tightly, the other two stabbed him indiscriminately.

The killers also attacked the other two brokers when they tried to come to the rescue of Yadav. The victim ran for some distance before collapsing near pillar No. 71. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries three hours later.

Yadav was allegedly involved in two murders.

Teen dies in accident

Syed Abid Hussain, 16, died while his elder brother Syed Alamdar, 18, escaped with minor injuries when the Honda Activa they were riding was hit by an APSRTC bus on Santoshnagar main road on Wednesday. The victim from Shaheennagar of Santoshnagar went to his grandmother’s house in Aryan colony the previous night and was returning home with his brother when the accident occurred in the morning.
