College helps Dilsukhnagar blast victim

In a noble gesture, the management of Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), Ibrahimpatnam, where Dilsukhnagar blast victim M. Pandu Ranga Reddy is pursuing B.Tech, have donated Rs.5 lakh to the victim’s family members.

During the BIET College annual day function held on Saturday, April 27, the cheque worth Rs.5 lakh was presented to the victim’s mother M. Lakshmi by High Court of Andhra Pradesh Judge, Nooty Rama Mohan Rao. The chairman and secretary of Bharat Institutions, Ch.Venu Gopal Reddy was also present. The BIET management also decided to waive-off the annual fee that Pandu Ranga Rao had paid to the college. According to BIET officials, close to Rs.1.35 lakh was returned back to the family members.
