Collector inspires Jagtial district to top in SSC

Collector A. Sharath’s strict warning to the teaching community that they would lose their annual increment if their students fail in the SSC examinations yielded good results with the newly formed district emerging as the top district in the State with the highest pass percentage in the SSC examinations results.

The Collector had also instructed the DEOs and MEOs not to sanction leaves to the teachers till the completion of SSC examinations. He inspected the study hours in various schools and motivated the teachers and students to study hard and pass in the examinations.

Team work

Accordingly, the Jagtial district stood number one in the State with 97.35% pass percentage in SSC. Out of 14,124 students who appeared in the SSC examinations from 351 schools, 13,750 passed. The Collector congratulated the Education Department, teachers and student community for the achievement.

Similarly, the Karimnagar district achieved number two position in the SSC pass percentage in the state, with 93.73%. Out of 15,386 students, 14,422 passed. Interestingly, the model schools and KGBVs achieved cent per cent results and competed on par with private schools. Rajanna-Sircilla district secured 12 rank with 87.74% results and the Peddapalli achieved 16th rank with 86.55% results.
