Utilities to issue orders with new pay-scales

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday signed the file pertaining to regularisation (absorption) of 20,903 outsourced staff working for four power utilities in the State, clearing the way for the power entities releasing the necessary orders.

The issue was cleared after the Chief Minister held detailed discussion with Energy Minister G. Jagadish Reddy, Chief Secretary to Government S.P. Singh, Special Chief Secretary (Energy) Ajay Misra, Principal Secretary (Finance) K. Ramakrishna Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of TS-Genco and TS-Transco D. Prabhakar Rao and Law Secretary V. Niranjan Rao.

File cleared

According to the officials, the Chief Minister cleared the filed based on recommendation of the managements of the four utilities – Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Ltd, Transmission Corporation of Telangana Ltd, Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd and Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd – for absorbing the outsourced staff working for the organisations for long.
