A class V student was among three persons who ended their lives by torching themselves in the city and suburbs.
V. Tarun of Kandukur in neighbouring Ranga Reddy district doused himself with kerosene and set himself on fire.
The police said Tarun had gone into a depression over his mother’s ill-health and taken the extreme step three days ago.
He died while undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital on Wednesday.
G. Krishna (30), a painter of Peeram Cheruvu, Narsingi, set himself ablaze and died on Tuesday night.
His family told the police that he was depressed over financial problems.
At Asifnagar, auto driver R. Raju (30) torched himself to death. He took the extreme step due to severe financial crisis, according to his family members.
Dies in road mishapA lorry driver B. Chandra Mohan Reddy (35), hailing from Kurnool, was killed after hit by an APSRTC bus at Gagan Pahad in Shamshabad on Tuesday.
Reddy was crossing the road when he was knocked down. The police shifted him to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
