Civil Supplies official in ACB net

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials had arrested P. Sandhya Rani, ASO of Civil Supplies department of Hyderabad, Circle VI, on charge of amassing wealth illegally.

Ms. Rani was found possessing assets worth nearly Rs. 2.24 crore during searches conducted at her residence in Regimental Bazaar of Secunderabad two days ago, a press release from the ACB on Monday said. Ms. Rani owned three residential plots at Ghatkesar, Hayathnagar and Serilingampally, two-floored building at Uppal, one flat at Singapore township in Pocharam , another three bedroom flat at Secunderabad and one small scale industrial unit at Cherlapally. Rs. 33.90 lakh, gold ornaments weighing 1.5 kg recovered.
