City-based Pegasystems Inc. announced that it has signed an alliance agreement with Ernst & Young LLP (EY) to expand their existing relationship and accelerate collaborative efforts in North America. According to a press release, the EY, as the company’s partner, would be strategically positioned to serve common customers in banking, financial services and insurance industries. The EY and Pegasystems will now offer full end-to-end global technology solutions from upfront consulting through deployment and ongoing services. Cigniti Technologies Limited, an independent testing services company, has setup operations in London, UK. Terming this a significant development, Srikanth Chakkilam, executive director, Cigniti Technologies said the UK was a mature market for software services and enterprises and felt that starting operations in the country would help them get closer to their clients. Nanda Padmaraju, VP (Sales), Cigniti Technologies (UK), said the UK centre would provide world-class near-shore software testing services to enterprises and SME businesses in the UK and Europe.
