Guess how many Rubik’s cubes a person can solve within 24 hours? The answer to that would be a record-creating 2176 if K. Raju Gadiraju, is to be believed. The 25-year old, who began the arduous task to crossing the 1000 mark to create a Guinness record at Prasad’s Imax on Saturday, far exceeded his own expectations.
“He only took bathroom breaks for five minutes in between. He had started performing from 1.10 p.m. on Saturday, so he stopped at the same time on Sunday afternoon,” said Kanishkar from Cubekart, the online marketing company which organised the record-breaking attempt for Raju.
He added that the entire episode was recorded on camera, and it will be sent to Guinness in a week’s time for review.
