Brace for cold nights and showers too, with the Met office forecasting rains or thundershowers from Thursday afternoon and a minimum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The minimum temperature will slide and hover around 13 degrees Celsius during the next three days, while the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperatures had actually risen slightly last week, with the sun piercing out of the clouds. According to the Met authorities, the minimum temperatures fell at a few places in Telangana, including the capital.

The fall in minimum temperatures is mainly due to northeasterly cold dry winds blowing across the Telangana region. During the next couple of days, haze or mist will occur in the morning hours.
