City students shine at TiE event

Not even 18, these five youngsters from Hyderabad now get a shot at $10,000 worth funding for their entrepreneurial venture. As part of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) – Hyderabad Chapter’s initiative, Keshav, Rishi Reddy, Neha Acharya, Yagna Aggarwal and Zayaan of classes 9 to 12 were selected for the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TyE) business plan competition held on Sunday.

The 25 students, who were shortlisted, were introduced to various aspects of entrepreneurship such as opportunity recognition, marketing, finance, business law, virtual business simulation and team building skills. The Hyderabad chapter winning team will now be participating in the TyE Global Business Plan competition in June 2015.
