City girl for Oz tourism contest

A Hyderabadi girl, Kritika Naidu, has made it to the shortlisted candidates for Tourism Australia’s ‘Best Jobs in the World’ contest. Kritika’s job entry of ‘Chief Funster’, which was shortlisted, was among a total of six lakh applicants received from over 196 countries.

According to reports, Kritika Naidu is the only Indian to be shortlisted by Tourism Australia.

The Hyderabadi girl in her application had prepared a short video that gave details about the job profile that a ‘Chief Funster’ would have.

‘Social commentator’

According to the profile, the ‘Chief Funster in New South Wales, will be a social commentator who often helps organise tourism functions like the New Year’s Eve at the Harbour and the Mardi Gras. Other interesting job profiles that were shortlisted include a Park Ranger in Queensland, Lifestyle Photographer in Victoria, Wildlife Caretaker in South Australia, Taste Master in Western Australia and Outback Adventurer in the Northern Territory.
