Daytime temperatures have started to rise in the districts of Telangana and Rayalaseema, the IMD, Hyderabad officials on Tuesday said. Mahabubnagar recorded a maximum of 39 degree Celsius while temperatures in the rest of the districts in Telangana region hovered between 36 and 38 degree Celsius. There was not much change in temperature in Hyderabad, which continued to remain at 36 degrees Celsius since past two days.
Almost all the districts in Rayalaseema districts recorded temperature between 37 and 38 degree Celsius. In the last 48 hours, temperatures in coastal Andhra Pradesh have hovered between 34 and 36 degree Celsius.
The Hyderabad MET office officials said that the forecast for the next 48 hours is largely dry with possibility of a rise in temperatures by a degree or two in Telangana and Rayalaseema region.
