Cine celebrities join glaucoma awareness walk

Several leading personalities from the Telugu film industry on Sunday morning joined the ‘Glaucoma Awareness Week’ organised by the L.V. Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) at Jubilee Hills.

‘Early detection key’

The walk, organised as part of Glaucoma Awareness Week, focused on early detection and prevention of the eye ailment through family screening.

Celebrities who were present included Nagineedu, Indraganti Mohan Krishna, Avasarala Srinivas, Eesha and Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s daughter Naga Susheela. Ramesh Prasad of Prasad Labs, Dr. G.N.Rao and Dr. G. Chandra Sekhar of L.V. Prasad Eye Institute were also present, a press statement from LVPEI said.
