Chief Minister to felicitate bureaucrats today

Heralding a new tradition, the State Government has decided to honour officials from the All India Services who excelled in their performance in taking the government’s programmes to the people on the Independence Day.

The government has selected four IAS officers - Vakati Karuna, R.S. Praveen Kumar, C.V. Anand and Md. Shafiullah for honouring them. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will felicitate four officers for their outstanding services during the Independence Day celebrations being held at Gloconda Fort on Tuesday.

According to an official release, Ms. Karuna had been selected for the way she had successfully implemented the KCR Kits programme and administering the government hospitals successfully while Mr. Praveen Kumar had been chosen for efficiently running the social welfare residential schools, mentoring several students in their career.

Senior IPS officer C.V. Anand would be honoured for increasing the efficiency of the public distribution system and IFS officer Mr. Shafiullah had been identified for his meritorious services in running the minority residential schools.
