November 27, 2016 12:00 am | Updated December 02, 2016 05:47 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

“Chi Udaka in many ways represents Australian society, which absorbs cultures and influences from all over the world,” said Sean Kelly, Australian Consul-General for South during a media interaction here in the city.

He was speaking ahead of the staging of ‘Chi Udaka’, a collaboration between two Sydney-based companies – Taikoz and the Lingalayam Indian Classical Dance Company. ‘Chi Udaka’ is a seamless amalgamation of taiko drumming and Indian classical dance.

Chi Udaka’s India Tour-2016 is sponsored by the Australian Government, the Australia India Council and ArtsNSW. Performances in Chennai and Hyderabad are part of The Hindu November Fest.
