Film actress Charmee Kaur approached the Hyderabad High Court seeking certain protective measures when she would be interrogated by Special Investigating Team probing the drug racket unearthed recently.

She contended that some rumours have been spread against her and Television channels were telecasting sensational news for their T.R.P. ratings.

She said that she had received notice from the officers and requested the court to give a direction to the investigating officials to permit the presence of her advocate when she is being questioned.

She also sought presence of a woman police officer.

Ms Kaur requested the court to direct the investigating officers not to extract any statement forcibly from her. She said that the authorities should not be permitted to take samples of blood, hair and nail from her without her consent. She cited some judgements of the Supreme Court in this regard.

The case is likely to come up on Tuesday before the Judge concerned .
