The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Friday filed a charge-sheet against K. Ripunjaya Reddy, former member of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), in a corruption case registered against him nearly four years ago.
The case was registered after ACB officials found that Mr. Reddy allegedly accumulated wealth illegally. Properties worth Rs. 2.50 crore acquired by him were disproportionate to his known sources of income, the ACB officials said.
The assets included eight houses (flats and independent buildings) in city and Kadapa district, five open plots in Hyderabad and Tirupati, 38 acres of agricultural land in Kadapa and Chittoor districts of AP and Bengaluru of Karnataka State.
