The CCS will be assisted in investigation by teams of different wings of Hyderabad police.

“A second surgery was conducted on him (Mr. Akbaruddin). Compared to this morning, his condition is fine but still remains to be critical. Though he is still on ventilator support and put on dialysis in view of acute kidney failure. It will take some more time and once these (ventilator and dialysis) systems are withdrawn, we can be able to tell on his exact health status,” he explained.

A group of ten assailants attacked the MIM MLA yesterday with sharp weapons and fire arms near the MIM office at Barkas locality under Chandrayangutta assembly constituency.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad Police Commissioner A K Khan said that a joint team comprising senior officials of Detective Department, South Zone and a Task Force were set up to assist CIS in the investigation.
