CBSE results: city schools perform well

The class 10 results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were declared on Saturday and students from several city schools scored well.

Gitanjali Devashray said all the 120 students passed, of which 32 got 10 CGPA and 108 students secured distinction.

Jubilee Hills Public School also secured cent per cent pass percentage. Of a total of 149 students who appeared for the exams, 78 students secured A1 grade with 43 of them scoring 10 CGPA.

Narsimha Reddy, Hyderabad Public School (HPS), Ramanthapur, principal, said all the 156 students passed the exam of which 39 scored 10 CGPA and 50 students scored 9-10 CGPA while 74% of students secured distinction. Little Scholar School, Sanathnagar, too achieved 100% pass. Maharshi Vidya Mandir, Kondapur, secured 100% pass with 30% of them securing 10 CGPA.

Meridian School, Banjara Hills, principal D. Usha Reddy said 46 students scored 10 CGPA. Silver Oaks International School achieved 100% results with 73 students securing 10 CGPA, said school principal Seetha Murty.

DDMS (AMS) P. Obul Reddy Public School said 193 students cleared the exam registering 100% pass with 20% of them getting 10 CGPA. The students of Delhi Public School, Nacharam, secured 100% pass for the fifth consecutive year.

Army Public School, Golconda, principal Vidya Muralidharan said 25% of students scored 10 CGPA. The students of Sister Niveditha School secured 100% results with 13 students getting 10 CGPA.

Pallavi Model School, Alwal, principal Siminagi said 62 students appeared and all of them passed with 21 scoring 10 CGPA while the remaining passing with distinction. Kennedy High the Global School recorded an outstanding result with all the 189 students clearing the exam. Among them, 147 got A1 grade.
