The Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted for entry into Indian Institute of Managements and top business schools in the country concluded on Saturday with no technical glitches being reported in all 20 exam centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
“It was perceived to be moderately difficult,” said Ramnath Kanakadandi, course director of a prominent coaching institute, after interacting with his students. In Section-I, the area of Quantitative Ability (QA) was perceived to be of moderate difficulty level.
Data Interpretation (DI) was found to be a notch above QA on difficulty due to the more involved nature of questions. In Section-II, Verbal Ability (VA) too was moderately difficult while Logical Reasoning (LR) was perceived to be ranging from doable to slightly tricky.
Several candidates felt that those who stayed away from time-consuming questions while maintaining a good level of accuracy on the doable questions would gain.
