Secunderabad Cantonment main roads, which were closed for civilians, will be opened again for the time being, thanks to deliberations between the Army and GHMC officials.
A press note from GHMC informed that new possible road stretches have been identified and till the roads materialised, the Army officials have agreed to keep the closure of roads at abeyance. Accordingly, the major roads will be kept open for public till May, 2018. Two alternative roads have been located respectively between Marredpally entrenchment road to Safilguda railway cross, and from there to R.K.Puram ROB, the note informed. The roads will be laid in two phases.
