Here’s good news for all you quiz-buffs. The Hindu Young World is back with its annual quizzing competition. The tenth edition of the Quiz will be held on October 6 in the city while the All-India Finals are slated to be held on November 6 in Coimbatore.

The quiz will be held in 13 centres across south India. There will be a written preliminary round at each centre to select six teams for the regional finals which will be held on the same day. The winning team from each region will be eligible to participate in the grand All-India Final at Coimbatore.

Teams

Each school can send a maximum of four teams, with two participants in each team. The participants should be students of standard seven to nine. Schools in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam need to enter their teams for the competition by September 30 and those in Vijayawada by October 1. The application forms can be obtained from The Hindu offices in the respective cities. Schools can also register online by emailing their entries to ‘ hydcirc@thehindu.co.in’. Registered team members must bring their ID-card along with letter of nomination from schools to the venue.
