Security experts from the US on Friday called for a focussed and united approach to combat terrorism and enhance security cover for all those loving freedom and peace people in the world.

They were speaking at the valedictory of a two-week, Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA), Critical Incident Management Course conducted at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), together with the Bureau of Diplomatic Security of the US Department of State and coordinated by the Bureau of Police Research and Development, New Delhi.

Wayne Bailey, an instructor, said the 18 participants, all of whom were senior officers from Central police organisations across India, had proved their professionalism. US experts had learned many lessons from the Indians in handling emergencies of every kind, over the years.
