A woman who booked a cab from Gachibowli through a popular app had a harrowing experience after the driver diverted the car and began to harass her.
According to the complainant, she booked a shared cab to Lingampalli Railway Station. After two passengers in the shared cab alighted, the accused allegedly diverted the vehicle towards P.V.N.R. Expressway, asked her contact number and misbehaved with her. When the woman shouted at him, he got off the expressway at Aramgarh and let her go. The woman sent her complaint to the SHE Teams through a Whatsapp message. The police nabbed the the 22-year-old driver K. Shivakumar and handed him over to Vanasthalipuram Police. A case under IPC Section 354 was registered.
