CA student, associate caught with 40 kg ganja in Hyderabad

A youngster pursuing Chartered Accountancy, D. Anvesh, and his associate N. Dasarath, were caught with 40 kg of ganja at Tarnaka in Secunderabad on Friday.

Anvesh hailing from Warangal was attending CA classes in Visakhapatnam where he came in contact with ganja supplier Kumar. Dasarath suffered losses in business and was looking out for means to clear his debts when Kumar asked him to find buyers for ganja.

At the instance of Kumar, Anvesh brought 40 kg of ganja to city and handed over to Dasarath. They were waiting at RTC hospital near Tarnaka with the contraband when the Commissioner’s Task Force (North) Inspector A.P. Anand Kumar caught them on a tip-off and seized the ganja.
