Businessmen held for uploading porn clips

Two businessmen were arrested by the city police on Sunday for allegedly transferring porn clippings into the memory cards of mobile phone customers.

The accused, identified as Arup Kumar Bhowmic, 23, owner of Arup mobile shop and resident of General Bazaar, and Abdul Ahad, 30, owner of Ahad Travels and resident of Mahankali Street, Secunderabad, had been transferring pornography into the memory cards of mobile phones customers by charging Rs.150 to Rs.200 from each person.

The duo were caught during a special drive conducted on the shops clandestinely uploading porno clippings into the memory cards of some known customers by taking money.

The police seized two computer systems, memory cards, two card readers and a pen drive from the arrested persons.
