Bus crushes techie to death

A software engineer was crushed to death under the wheels of a private bus in front of Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad on Saturday morning.

Twenty-five year old A. Satish, a resident of New Nallakunta, was going towards Mettuguda when the bus rammed into his motorcycle. The bus driver fled the scene after abandoning the vehicle. The death was instant for Satish. He was working as a software engineer in a multi-national company at Somajiguda, according to police.

In a separate incident, a first-year intermediate student died after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a speeding lorry at Chandrayangutta crossroads on Saturday morning. Mohammed Yousuf Khan (20) of Balapur was going to market when the accident occurred. A manhunt has been launched to nab the lorry driver. In yet another incident, a 23-year-old man died after an unidentified vehicle hit him at Keesara on Friday night. The victim has been identified as Naveen of Rampally near Keesara.
