Admissions to the first-year of 6-year Integrated B.Tech Programme-2015 of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) will commence with the issue of notification on May 26. The last date for receipt of online applications is June 19.
The university offers integrated B.Tech programme in chemical, civil, computer science, electrical and communications, mechanical and metallurgical & materials engineering. Students who have passed X class can apply for admission into these courses offered at RGUKT-Basar and RGUKT-Andhra Pradesh (Nuzvid and Idupalapaya campuses). According to a press release issued here on Monday, applications will be received online only through APOnline Service Centres with admissions to be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade in each subject obtained in X class.
All statutory reservations are to be followed and a deprivation score of 0.4 added to the GPA of applicants who studied in non-residential government schools including Zilla Parishad and Municipal High Schools in the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Students from other States, children of Indians working in Gulf countries, International and NRI students are eligible for admission in supernumerary seats.
