‘Bring back TS staff allotted to AP Secretariat’

Telangana Secretariat Association has represented to the Telangana government to bring back all Telangana employees provisionally allotted to Andhra Pradesh under the order to serve irrespective of available vacancies.

The Association president M. Narendar Rao and general secretary G. Laxmi Narayana submitted a charter of demands to the Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma here on Wednesday. They said if necessary supernumerary posts are to be created, then the government should bring back all Telangana employees working under Andhra Pradesh government.

They also said that Andhra Pradesh employees working in Telangana Secretariat be relieved immediately and sent to AP Secretariat. In their place, Telangana employees be posted in those vacancies by making in-charge arrangements in relaxation of Rule 10 (H) of State and Sub-ordinate service rules.

Their other demands included construction of residential quarters near the new Telangana Secretariat for all the Telangana Secretariat employees and accommodation be provided on a par with All India Service officers, cashless medical treatment by streamlining the employees heath insurance scheme, practical training programme be provided to all cadres of employees within the Secretariat premises for improvement of drafting and noting skills.

The Association among other demands also requested for creation of 250 posts of Section Assistants in the scale of typist cum assistant to reduce the work load in the section and for filling all the retirement vacancies in the cadres of Class IV, drivers, record assistants.
