The Railway Police were on tenterhooks on Tuesday morning after an unidentified person dialled ‘100’, informing that a bomb had been planted at the Nampally railway station, and that it would explode at 10.30 a.m.

Police immediately searched all platforms with the help of the bomb disposal squad for more than an hour and confirmed that no explosives were found. This is the second such incident to be reported since Monday morning. An unidentified person had on Monday called up the police control room, saying that a bomb had been planted on the Sri Sai Ram School premises at Krishna Nagar in Banjara Hills.

Police said efforts were on to trace the callers.
