Blast victim’s kin lands govt job

In line with the assurance that eligible family members of those killed in the twin bomb blasts at Dilsukhngar be given government jobs, Chief Minister N.Kiran Kumar Reddy handed over an appointment order to the wife of a blast victim here on Thursday.

Ms. N. Sujatha, wife of N. Venkatewarlu who died in the blast, was appointed Junior Assistant in the Office of the Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry at Mamidipalli in Ranga Reddy district. He also promised all help to her children.

The State Government had extended an ex-gratia of Rs. 6 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1 lakh to the injured. It also issued orders that appointments on compassionate ground according to rules and the President’s Order should be extended to the family members of the deceased and those who suffered permanent disability.

It also directed the Ranga Reddy District Collector to send the details of the victims who belonged to other districts to the respective Collectors.
